When it comes to teeth, Audrey's motto is "go big, or go home". Yes, that's right, she now has a 2nd tooth. That makes TWO in a week, and for a not-quite-6-month-old, that's impressive. Not that I'm biased. Before the first one came out, her Grandma Shirley told us that she is too young for teeth. Just goes to show that you should never tell someone in our family you can't do something. She is also trying to sit up and crawl like mad, so we're expecting that to happen any time now.
Gabe is getting ready for his preschool to start, and unfortunately, we found out that backpacks with wheels, like his Spider Man one, are forbidden. So, yesterday he got two more backpacks (long story). He has also gotten some new socks, underwear, shirt, and shoes for school, so he definitely realizes he is doing something special. Hopefully he won't change his mind when he actually has to do the "school" part.
The past two days, we've been hanging around the house trying to avoid Nibroc traffic, which seems to take up more and more of the town each year. Gabe has been very curious about Nibroc this time around, so we're heading out into the madness one time to let him do a couple of rides, eat a funnel cake, and try not to get thrown up on. Wish us luck!
