Building a pirate ship (aka, are our tetanus shots up-to-date?)

He is wearing his "Mr. Fix-It" t-shirt, which goes well with the goggles.
He is taking his job very seriously as he hammers the nail into the crow's nest. His next job will be to re-tile our bathroom floor.
Using the sandpaper.
Audrey thinking, How did I get dragged to Lowe's to listen to a bunch of hammers, anyway?

Because of a tip we received from Texas (thank you, Erin!), we got to do something fun on Saturday, and best of all, it was both free and pirate-related. We were alerted to a pirate shipbuilding workshop at Lowe's. It was the cutest thing to see all these little kids wearing safety goggles and hammering. Gabe actually wore the glasses without any threats or bribes, and he absolutely loved using his hammer. The pirate ship kit was idiot proof, which was a good thing because I was Gabe's "adult helper". Of course, Gabe loves his finished ship, and has been showing it off since yesterday.
