A rare genuine smile for the camera
Ruthless Captain No-Beard even took a prisoner. Gabe told me he's going to make Audrey "crawl the plank", which I thought was pretty smart.
Pirate ships in various stages of battle
Pirates engaged in a ferocious battle with...Noah's Ark? Wouldn't want to be in the middle of THAT one!
Gabe watching Uncle John and Aunt Hilary (mostly John) play with his pirate pool float. As you can see, Gabe is in 24/7 pirates mode. He starts off each day by arranging his pirate ships and the pirates on them. This is interrupted by breakfast and getting ready. Then, more pirate play. Then lunch while watching his Scooby Doo Pirates Ahoy movie (occasionally, it is the Dora Pirates movie), while I put Audrey down for her nap. When she is sleeping, there is, yes, more pirate play while I also try to convince him to play with cars or puzzles or something else. Dinner and bath follow. Lastly, we read his "A Pirate's Life for Me" book before bed, which he can now quote. This book has led him to start saying "Give up your cargo or die". A little violent, but at least he's picked up some more lingo, besides just telling us to walk the plank.
