Well, not really, but at 8 lbs, 1 oz today, with 2 weeks to go until our due date, she's pretty darn big - as is my stomach - and has a headful of fuzzy hair. The ultrasound technician took a bunch of measurements of her to estimate size, and for each one, she was in the upper 80 to mid-90 percentiles. She was particularly impressed with the baby's fat belly (never a nice thing to say to another woman, even a fetal one with no comprehension of the word "fat"). This will be a new experience for us, because Gabe has never had any fat on him, except in his cheeks, and he doesn't so much have a "belly" as he has "abs".
Luckily, my doctor today decided to induce me next Monday evening, otherwise she'd probably end up at 9 lbs. Assuming no super-quick or long labor, her birthday will be Tuesday, February 26, two days after her Uncle John's. John and Dad are leaving for Jamaica for my brother Andy's wedding on February 28, so that worked out well.
I will post pictures as soon as possible here, but check out the BRMC link at the bottom of our blog to view and leave messages.

You are so close! Hang in there! What a big baby! OUCH!! You might want to go ahead and get hooked up to the epidural now!! How big was Gabe? We are so excited for you- enjoy the last few days with Gabe as an only child!! I guess Tal and Sumo baby will be in the same grade in school! My mom saw your mom the other day and she said "no baby yet!" Best of luck- let us know when the little bundle arrives!
Good Luck! She will be a little doll, just like Gabe. I am so happy for you both! We will check her out on the web. Can't wait to see her!
